Thiago Motta is named Serie A Coach of the Month for the second time this season

Bologna coach Thiago Motta has been named the best coach in Italian Serie A in March.

The 41-year-old has been recognised as the best coach of the month for the second time in a row. In March, Bologna played three matches, gaining six points and losing only to the undisputed season leader Inter Milan (0:1). Motta's men defeated Atalanta (2-1) and Empoli (1-0).

After the 31st round of Serie A, Bologna remains in fourth place, which guarantees qualification for the Champions League, the first in the club's history.
