The specialist will have enough time for a holiday and another year to prepare the national team for the 2026 World Cup. Sandro Wagner, who is currently Nagelsmann's assistant, could serve as interim coach for a year, but Wagner also has the option of moving to Bayern alongside Nagelsmann.
