At the beginning of 2024, midfielder Andrii Bliznichenko, who played for Veres in the autumn, was granted free agent status. The 29-year-old told how his search for a new club ended:

Therefore, I decided that it would be better not to force things and accept any invitation, but to prepare myself properly to find a job in an ambitious team during the summer transfer window. I believe that I have not yet said my last word in football and it is too early for me to hang up my boots on a nail," Bliznichenko said.
In addition to playing for Veres, Ingulets, Dnipro, Moldovan Sheriff, and Turkish Karabyukspor, Andrii Bliznichenko has played 77 matches for the Ukrainian national teams of all ages, scoring 12 goals.
