Volodymyr Brazhko, the scorer of the winning goal of today's match of the 24th round of the Ukrainian championship between Oleksandriya and Dynamo (1-0), shared his emotions about the match.
- It was a very emotional match with a positive result for us. How do you feel?
- Only positive emotions. We played the entire second half in the minority, endured, missed several chances, then scored - and again endured. The whole team did well, we are happy with the result and the game.
- The winning goal today is, in fact, exclusively your merit: you took it away, passed it through, played on the rebound, hitting the crossbar...
- I can't single myself out - everyone tried, gave 110% on the pitch. Yes, I scored, but it was the merit of the whole team.
- The goal was the result of a quick counterattack. Was this the plan and was it discussed in the dressing room after the sending off?
- Yes, the coaches told us not to sit low, to cover the opponent. I went to the press, took the ball away, passed it, then played on the rebound and scored.
- To what extent did the stoppages due to anxiety affect the mood you had for the game?
- In fact, it's very difficult to go out on the pitch after a stop, your legs get stiff. But everyone endured, realising that we only needed to win, and gave their all on the pitch.
- After Voloshin's sending off, did you change your tactics for the game?
- Of course, the scheme was changed due to the absence of one player. But we tried not to go low before scoring, and only when we took the lead did we go back a little under the pressure of the opponent. However, I think we played well in the minority.
- In your opinion, was Voloshin's sending off fair?
- Honestly, I can't comment on this moment because I was on the pitch. We need to watch the replay on the broadcast. It seemed to me that there shouldn't have been a first warning, and the second one is a question... We need to watch it.
- Did the match live up to expectations? "Did Oleksandriya manage to put up a fight?
- Of course, we knew that they were a good team that plays well with the ball and likes to control it. Yes, they have problems, but today we won, which means we are stronger.
- Is today the hardest match you've played since the winter break?
- Every match is difficult in its own way, and we prepare for every match.
