Head coach of Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih Yurii Vernydub commented on the 1-1 draw against Rukh Lviv in yesterday's match of the 24th round of the Ukrainian championship.
"It was a good game. Both teams wanted to win, but drew. I think the result is natural. If either team had scored the second goal, they would have won.
No one wanted to concede. The teams played good football today. The score is 1-1, so it was meant to be. We lost two points, because we only needed a win. But this is football, it happens that for the second match in a row we lose a victory when we are leading.
"Rukh played good combinations with fast, technical players. That's why it was not easy for us to resist them. Although we scored an important goal before the break. In the second half, we controlled the game until the 75th minute. And then at that moment with the missed ball, we lacked a little concentration. A simple run behind the back, our defender did not see the moment, and a good performance by Talles. After that, the teams finished the game, and the football started to play on opposite courses," Vernydub's official website quoted Kryvbas as saying.
