"Benfica" wants to sign the defender of "Ruha", who is also interested in "Dynamo"

Sport.ua has learnt that Benfica are interested in the services of Ukraine's youth national team and Rucha defender Bohdan Slyubyk.

After the successful transfer of Anatoliy Trubin from Shakhtar, the Portuguese grandee is analysing the entire Ukrainian talent transfer market. It was Slyubyk who made the best impression.

According to the source, Benfica see in the player the potential for further growth. In the future, he will be able to replace the team's captain, 36-year-old Nicolas Otamendi, whose contract will expire at the end of next season. The Portuguese are not intimidated by the potentially high price of the player.

In the current season, 20-year-old Sliubyk has played 24 matches for Ruch in UPL, in which he scored 2 goals. Transfermarkt estimates the player at 700 thousand euros. The contract with "Rukh" is valid until mid-summer 2027.
