The former coach of Dynamo Kyiv, Mircea Lucescu, whose employment at Turkish side Besiktas was reported by the media as a fait accompli, may not end up in Istanbul.

The other seven are: Sergen Yalcin (Antalyaspor), Shenol Gunesh and Kurban Kurbanov (Karabakh), as well as technical specialists with better known names in European football, such as Antonio Conte, Maurizio Sarri, Edin Terzic (Borussia Dortmund) and Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
