In a thrilling Premier League match between Chelsea and Everton at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea came away with an emphatic 6-0 win, while Everton couldn't keep their feet on the ground. Chelsea dominated the first half with young talent K Palmer leading the way. Palmer opened the scoring in the 13th minute with a clinical strike and then added another goal just five minutes later in the 18th minute. Everton player J. Garner received a yellow card in the 28th minute, followed by another Palmer goal in the 29th minute. As tension mounted, Everton's A. Young and Chelsea's M. Mudrick received yellow cards before N. Jackson scored an impressive goal in the 44th minute, making the score 4-0 in Chelsea's favour at half-time.
Chelsea continued to dominate the second half, with Palmer earning a penalty in the 64th minute and converted it, making it his hat-trick. Everton's frustration boiled over as J. Tarkowski and M. Keane received yellow cards in the 52nd and 66th minutes respectively. After that Chelsea made a number of substitutions: N. Madueke, B. Chilwell, K. Casadei, M. Gusto and David Washington took the field. The match ended well for Chelsea: A. Gilchrist scored in the 90th minute, formalising a confident 6-0 victory. Everton tried to save their pride with late substitutions, releasing J. Harrison, A. Gomez, N. Patterson and B. Godfrey on the field. Godfrey, but it was too little and too late - "Chelsea" came out an absolute winner. On the whole, Chelsea showed their skill in attack and reliability in defence.
