The draw for the final tournament of the 2024 UEFA European Championship among players under 19 has taken place. The youth national team of Ukraine (players not older than 2005) has found out their rivals.
It will be recalled that on 26 March, our team effectively completed the fight in the elite round of the Euro 2024 U-19 selection with a victory over Switzerland (3: 0). Prior to that, Dmytro Mykhailenko's wards defeated Northern Macedonia (2-0) and Latvia (3-0). "The Blue and Yellows won their group with the maximum score and won a ticket to the final tournament of the European Championship, which will take place on 15-28 July in Northern Ireland with the participation of eight national teams.
Following the draw, the Ukrainians are in Group A, where their rivals will be Northern Ireland, Norway and Italy. The top two teams from each quartet will advance to the semi-finals, and the main trophy will be played at Windsor Park in Belfast on 28 July.
There will be no match for third place, but there will be a match for fifth place, as Europe will delegate five representatives to the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup, which will be held in Chile with the participation of 24 teams. So the four semi-finalists will be joined by the winner of the match between the third teams of the groups. Like the semi-finals, it is scheduled for 25 July.

Group A: Northern Ireland, Norway, Italy, Ukraine.
Group B: Denmark, Turkey, France, Spain.
It should be added that this will be the 8th European Championship final tournament for the Ukrainian U-19 team.
