Alexander Bandura- Oleksandr, what did Minaya players hoped for before the match with Dynamo Kyiv?
- We wanted and really expected to earn one point. It was hard to talk about it in the first half - we were simply "driven". But after the break the picture on the pitch was different.
- What was the reason for such a timid game of your team in the first half?
- At the beginning we were afraid of something. Dynamo players were energised for this match, it was obvious. And after the break the hosts thought, it seems to me, that they could easily bring the game to the winning end. Plus, my partners were able to relax a little, and Korablin's goal helped us. When Dynamo scored 1:2, I saw panic in some moments. We had two chances to equalise. Yes, we lost in the end, but not toothless.
- Why "Minai" manage the second halves better than the first halves. What do you attribute it to?
- It is difficult to explain it. It's all about psychology, we have a lot of young players in the squad. And then, when Minaya players play, then it is easier for the guys to play.
- What chances do Minaya have to stay in the elite division?
- They are, although I would estimate them at 30%. Maybe not much, but we believe in it. If we could get into the transition games, it would be a decent result for us in the current situation. It is important for us to gain points in the nearest matches. We can not put everything off until the last games.
- You conceded three goals today. Could it have been avoided?
- I conceded the first goal from Buyalskiy in the 5th minute. Vitaliy shot between the legs of our defender, I rushed to one corner of the goal, but he shot into the other. The second goal was an auto-goal from Nemchaninov. In the end of the game I was waiting for a shot from Vanat, I blocked this possible shot. And Voloshin scored, our edge defender did not play a little bit.
