These days UEFA is considering changing the deadline for national teams to submit their bids for the final part of Euro 2024.
Now the deadline is 7 June, which means that the participants of the European Championship must decide on their application lists exactly one week before the start of the tournament. In this case, according to the regulations, changes in the submitted bids can be made only if it turns out that one or another player due to injury will not be able to play throughout Euro-2024. And this kind of rotation in the bids is allowed only until the first match of the European Championship.
This situation does not please some national team coaches, who fear that because of such an early deadline they will not have enough time to assess the situation with possible injuries to players. So they have called on UEFA to change the deadline for bids to a later date. And, according to Sky Sports, that proposal is now being considered.
