Sports company PUMA has unveiled the revolutionary FUTURE Z 1.1 football boots. Get ready to get FUTURE and go crazy with the GAME.ON. version of the FUTURE Z, which will be worn by the world's most dynamic and creative playmakers: Neymar Jr, James Maddison, Eugenie Le Sommer, Marco Royce and Jennifer Marojan.
The FUTURE Z have been designed to enhance the playing style of the world's most incredible and exciting players. Built on the adaptive compression band FUZIONFIT+, the shoe provides optimum fit and support during sudden movements. The upper is made from an innovative new knitted material covered with a thin layer of GripControl Pro to provide superior touch and ball control. The latest Dynamic Motion System outsole has been designed for improved traction to drive opponents crazy.
"The biggest innovation of the FUTURE Z is the FUZIONFIT+ compression strap located in the centre of the foot," said Lilly Cox, Teamsport shoe developer. - "The strap was created using a special combination of polyester and spandex yarns and a special technical yarn to create the perfect balance of compression, comfort and durability, giving the wearer a second-skin feel."
PUMA continues to push the boundaries with the FUTURE Z by developing a new lightweight tooling system, the Dynamic Motion System outsole. The spectacular Z-shaped outsole reduces weight, provides 360-degree foot lockdown and supports a stable plate that allows playmakers to execute devastating accelerations, movements and skills.
The FUTURE Z were developed with the help of medical staff from some of PUMA's top clubs from around the world to ensure optimal spike configuration in the boots, including placing the middle spike at the pivot point of the boot to accelerate quick changes of direction.
"Form and comfort are important for agile, creative players. To support this type of player, we developed a sole made from an ultra-lightweight PEBA material that underwent rigorous testing during the development phase. During agility tests over a 20 metre distance, players were on average 3 per cent faster using the FUTURE Z compared to their predecessors," said Florian Deutsch, Senior Manager PLM Teamsport Footwear. - "The boots were developed using key insights and analyses that allowed us to innovate and evolve FUTURE while maintaining the FUTURE DNA."
