Fulham did not back down and managed to equalise in the 45th minute thanks to a goal from T. Castagna. In the second half, Liverpool took the lead again on 53 minutes thanks to a goal by R. Despite the defeat, Fulham put up a decent resistance and showed great determination throughout the match. The fans were treated to some exciting football at Craven Cottage, with Liverpool eventually winning the game.
