The appearance of the players on the pitch accompanied by children before the match is always a special and touching event during every Dynamo home game. In the Ukrainian championship game against Polissya, which took place at the Dynamo V. Lobanovsky Stadium on 21 April, the match participants were brought onto the green pitch by children from the families of our club's most loyal fans who died defending Ukraine from Russian aggression.

The opening of the match was attended by 8-year-old Sava and 9-year-old Anastasia, children from the families of representatives of the Dynamo Kyiv fan movement: Maxim Yalovtsov and Ruslan Kurulyak. They made the first symbolic kick of the ball.
It should be noted that Maksym Yalovtsov (call sign "Rugby Player") was a legendary member of the Dynamo ultra movement, one of the leaders of the Capitals team, a coach and a public figure. He was killed on 21 September 2022 while performing a combat mission behind enemy lines in the Zaporizhzhia sector.
Ruslan Kurulyak (call sign "Oblomov") - originally from Zhytomyr, a fan of Dynamo Kyiv and Polissya Zhytomyr, a participant in the war in the East since 2014. He was killed on 24 January 2023 while performing a combat mission behind enemy lines in the Kherson sector.
