Former Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho has spoken about the confidence of the management in the current head coach of the team, Eric ten Hag.

So I left sadly because I felt I was at the very beginning of the process. In some moments I felt that if they had trusted me and believed in my experience, things could have been different.
There are still a couple of players in the team that I didn't want to see five or six years ago. I think they have an insufficient level of professionalism for a club of this level. But I have done my job there. Time always crystallises the truth. I would like to see Manchester United succeed," Mourinho told The Telegraph.
