Frankie de Jong to recover from injury before the start of the European Championships

Barcelona and Netherlands centre-back Frankie de Jong will recover in time for Euro 2024.

According to ESPN, due to an ankle injury sustained in a recent match against Real Madrid, de Jong will definitely miss the rest of this season. However, the 26-year-old will have time to return to the field by early June, when the Netherlands will begin preparations for Euro 2024. De Jong's full recovery is expected to take 4 to 5 weeks.

At the European Championship, the Dutch national team will play in the same group as France, Poland and Austria.
