Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois commented on Barcelona president Joan Laporta's statement about a possible replay of the Spanish league match due to a disallowed goal by Andriy Lunin.
"A disallowed goal? I'm not going to get involved in this issue, because there's no need to. It's very easy to see with the help of technology," DefensaCentral quoted Courtois as saying.
It will be recalled that due to the lack of an automatic goal scoring system in the Spanish league, a controversial episode occurred in the middle of the first half of yesterday's match. After a corner kick by a Barcelona player, Lunin barely managed to knock the ball out of the goal line, but replays of the moment did not give a clear answer as to whether the ball had crossed the goal line completely. As a result, the teams continued the match at 1-1, and Real Madrid managed to snatch the victory a few minutes before the final whistle thanks to a goal by Bellingham.
