Renowned journalist Serhiy Tyshchenko shared his vision of the situation in which Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin of Real Madrid is currently finding himself.

Lunin and his agent Mendes want guarantees that Andriy will not turn into Courtois' understudy and play a couple of matches a season. For him, this is the end of any prospects at the top level. It is clear that Perez or Ancelotti cannot give such guarantees. As an experienced agent, Mendes understands that the summer of 2024 will be the best chance for Lunin's transfer. Who wouldn't want to sign Real Madrid's main goalkeeper for down-to-earth money? Next summer, Lunin may have a completely different reputation.
