Last Thursday, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine hosted a working meeting attended by the head of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Matvei Bedny, the president of the Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Shevchenko and the director of the state institution Sport for All Andriy Rebrina.
Andriy Shevchenko and Matvei PoorDuring the meeting, the participants discussed the development of football in Ukraine and signed documents that will help to make the sport more mass and fair.
In particular, the head of the Ministry of Youth Sports Matvei Bidny and UAF President Andriy Shevchenko signed a cooperation agreement between the UAF and the Ministry of Youth Sports, as well as a memorandum on cooperation and information exchange between the UAF and the Ministry of Youth Sports.
While signing the documents, the participants of the meeting focused on cooperation within the framework of the Virtue Platform. This initiative will help to ensure integrity in sport and prevent manipulation.
Andriy Shevchenko thanked for the support of the head of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and noted the qualification of the two junior national teams and the national team for the European Championships. And also emphasised that for the first time in history this summer the men's national team of Ukraine will take part in the football tournament of the Summer Olympics.
