Almost every day gives the world a few famous people who closely connected their lives with football:
Viktor Mas lov (1910-1977) was a former football player and coach. The most famous club, whose colours Maslov defended, was Moscow "Torpedo". There Viktor Aleksandrovich also began his coaching career. Together with "Torpedo" Maslov won the championship and the USSR Cup in 1960. However, a year later he was fired from the post of head coach of the Muscovites. In 1964 Maslov took charge of Dynamo Kyiv, with which he won three championships and two USSR Cups. He is among the 50 best coaches of the 50th anniversary, according to World Soccer magazine.
Maksym Belyi (1989-2013) is a former Ukrainian midfielder for Zorya Luhansk. Belyi is a pupil of Shakhtar Donetsk, but did not play a single match for the Donetsk side. Since the age of 17 he has been called up to the national teams of Ukraine of various age groups. He took part in the 2011 European Youth Championship. Maksym was seriously injured, however, Belyi's club did not say anything concrete about it until the last moment. On 14 September it was announced that Maksim died that morning in Novomoskovsk. The cause of death was a brain tumour.
Walter Pandiani (1976) is a former Uruguayan striker. At one time defended the colours of such clubs as: "Birmingham", "Osasuna", "Deportivo La Coruña", "Villarreal", as well as "Mallorca". But despite a fairly successful club career in the Uruguayan national team played only 4 matches, he did not score any goals. Top scorer of the UEFA Cup in the 2006/07 season.
