Due to significant personnel changes in a number of national associations, UEFA, in its circular No. 15/2024 of 28.03.2024, provided national associations with the opportunity to renew their membership in UEFA committees and panels in order to optimise their respective representation and maintain relevant cooperation on issues that are crucial for the operation and development of football.
Given that most of the representatives of Ukraine in UEFA committees and panels have now lost their positions in the UAF, the Executive Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association at its meeting on 26 April decided to withdraw the following UAF representatives from UEFA bodies:
- Andriy Pavelko - from the positions of Deputy Chairman of the UEFA Youth and Amateur Football Committee and Deputy Chairman of the UEFA Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee;
- Yuriy Zapisotskyi - from the position of Second Vice-Chairman of the UEFA Club Licensing Committee;
- Vadym Kostiuchenko - as a member of the UEFA HatTrick Committee;
- Oleksiy Mykhailychenko - as a member of the UEFA National Team Competitions Committee;
- Oleg Protasov - from his position as a member of the UEFA Football Committee;
- Vladimir Geninson - as a member of the UEFA Stadiums and Safety Committee;
- Andrii Bondarenko - as a member of the UEFA Panel of Administrative Experts.
Instead, the UAF Executive Committee appointed the following representatives to fill the vacant positions:
- UAF President Andriy Shevchenko - as Deputy Chairman of the UEFA Youth and Amateur Football Committee;
- UAF First Vice President Pavlo Boichuk - as a member of the UEFA HatTrick Committee;
- UAF Vice President Serhiy Rebrov - as a member of the UEFA National Teams Competition Committee;
- UAF Vice President Oleksandr Shevchenko - as second vice-chairman of the UEFA Club Licensing Committee;
- Serhiy Vladyko, President of the Futsal Association of Ukraine, as Deputy Chairman of the UEFA Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee;
- Head of the UAF Professional Football Committee Oleh Luzhnyi - as a member of the UEFA Football Committee;
- UAF Deputy Secretary General Vitaliy Danylchenko - as a member of the UEFA Panel of Administrative Experts.
