Dynamo midfielder Vladyslav Kabayev shared his emotions on FootballHub after a strong-willed victory over Dnipro-1 in the match of the 26th round of the Ukrainian championship.

Vladislav Kayaev

- Vladislav, congratulations on your victory! An incredible end to the match...

- Yes, we left a lot of emotions on the pitch, but they are positive. I think the score is fair, because we made a lot of progress in the second half. We needed these points more than Dnipro-1. It was difficult, we asked to play football in Kyiv, but we also understood the opponent that they wanted to play at home. It's good that there was only one worry. We were coming here and thought we would play until the evening.

We wanted to prove to ourselves and the referees that we are still in the race for the championship. We scored a goal in the last minutes. It may be too early to talk about it, but it is in such matches that the championship is won. Step by step, we are getting there. The head coach believes in us, Yarmolenko got us going before the start of the second half. I am very glad that we have such a team. We have a goal that we are working towards.

- How difficult was it to prepare for the match, given the constant shelling of the city?

- Honestly, you get used to it somehow, but there are more worries in Dnipro than in Kyiv. I saw that yesterday there were 15 alarms here. Of course, we are all worried. It's a constant stress that you live in, and it brings you down, there is no concentration on football. But, of course, we all understand that there is a war going on.

- Your team played much better in the second half...

- Yes, because for some reason we came out for the first half without fire in our eyes. I can say this for myself, although I understood that the championship was at stake. In the second half, we saw that we had to go only forward, because there was no other way. Even a draw did not suit us. We need to look at ourselves, we have no room for error.
