Former Poltava Vorskla striker Serhiy Chuichenko has assessed the tournament prospects of Kryvyi Rih Kryvbas at the end of the current Ukrainian championship.
Sergey Chuichenko- Kryvorizhzh team shows good football, but I believe that the first place will be played by Shakhtar and Dynamo. "Kryvbas" this spring lost important points in matches with "Vorskla" and "Rukh", so I think it has some 10 per cent chance of getting the championship title.
But Yuriy Vernidub's team can cling to the second position. In case Dynamo stumble somewhere. Especially since the capital's grandee will soon play with the Pitmen. Besides, the calendar of Oleksandr Shovkovskiy's wards is quite difficult: they have matches with Dnipro Dnipro-1 and Kryvbas. So, a lot will depend on their match with Dynamo. If they can beat Dynamo, they will have a chance to take second place.
As for the championship, the gap between Kryvbas and the leader, Shakhtar, is currently quite large. Only Dynamo could theoretically catch up with them," UA-Football quoted Chuichenko as saying.
