We conceded a goal and the situation became more complicated. It got better in the second half, we showed more determination. We were leading 2-1 and still had a lot of chances - we needed to score the third goal. It was a strange feeling. They turned two chances into two goals. Now the situation is very clear. A win in Madrid and an exit at Wembley. For me, this confrontation is still a 50-50 chance. Let's see what happens next.
Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid head coach:"In the first half we had to defend, but we didn't do it with the intensity I expected. In the second half they took the lead, but I thought we pressed better then. My overall impression is that we felt quite comfortable, but we lacked the optimum intensity. In a situation like that, you are bound to get penalised - everyone in the world knows that.
Thanks to Kroos, we possessed the ball well, and Bayern didn't really put us under too much pressure when it came to possession. There were free areas. We expected them to play with a high defensive line, which they did. Thanks to Toni and Vinicius, we took advantage, scoring the first goal. Fantastic pass, fantastic finish."
