Journalist Mikhail Spivakovsky commented on Shakhtar defender Valery Bondar's decision to receive a yellow card at the end of the Ukrainian Premier League match against Chornomorets, which ended in a 4-1 defeat for the Odesa club.

It's impossible to prove anything, but the Shakhtar defender fouled in an unnecessary situation, and then trampled on his counterpart a little bit - maybe just in case. It's reasonable: the centre-back is much more likely to get a yellow card in the next match against Chornomorets than the striker," TaToTake quoted Spivakovsky as saying.
It will be recalled that Shakhtar will meet Chornomorets again in the next UPL match on 11 May, after which they will play Dynamo.
