Phil Foden is the best player in the Premier League this season according to journalists

The English Football Journalists' Association has named the best player of the season in the English Premier League.

Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden took first place in the voting with 42% of the vote. Foden was ahead of Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice and City teammate Rodrique, who came in second and third respectively. Martin Edegor, Ollie Watkins and Cole Palmer rounded out the top six.

This season, Foden has played 31 matches in the Premier League, scoring 16 goals and providing seven assists.

Phil became the third Manchester City player in four years to win the award, after Ruben Diaz in 2021 and Erling Holland in 2023.
