On 4 May there was a match of the 34th round of the Spanish championship 2023/2024 between the teams "Girona" and "Barcelona". The game ended with a score of 4:2 in favour of the home team.
Artem DovbikThe Red-White striker Artem Dovbik came out in the starting line-up and played the whole match, scoring a goal and an assist. Artem scored his 20th goal in La Laga and became the first Ukrainian player in the last 20 years to score 20+ goals in the top 5 European leagues.
The last time such a feat was achieved by the legendary Ukrainian goal scorer Andriy Shevchenko, who scored 24 goals in Italian Serie A for AC Milan in 2003/04 season. It should be noted that in 2004 Shevchenko won the Golden Ball.
