Yuriy Shelepnytskyi, who led the Ukrainian national team with the captain's armband to its first ever match, explained why he did not end up at Dynamo.
Yuriy Shelepnytsky- "Dynamo Kyiv was not a poor club, but the players were offered less compared to the Turkish championship, and their salaries and bonuses were not high. Also, the Chornobyl accident was seven or eight years ago. That is why we consulted with my wife and decided to go to Turkey," Shelepnytskyi said.
