Renowned coach and football expert Oleh Fedorchuk analysed the situation ahead of the Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich Champions League semi-final.

I believe that the psychological state of the Munich team is not at a high level right now. The club, which has been the undisputed leader in Germany and made a name for itself in Europe over the past decade, is currently going through a difficult time. In my opinion, the team's coach Thomas Tuchel delayed the change of generation. Thomas Muller and Manuel Neuer are top players, but that was in the past. At the same time, Bayern looked no worse than their opponents on their home pitch: the team acted with inspiration, and in some moments the Munich team even outperformed Madrid.
I think that Real Madrid will benefit from the support of the packed stands by 5-10 per cent, no more. You just can't argue with the statistics - teams win much more often on their home ground. Anyway, it will be a difficult game for each team. In terms of percentage, I think it's 60-40% in favour of Real Madrid. As for the result, I'll put 2-1 on the hosts. Although Bayern, given the failure in the league, will put everything at stake in the Champions League.
