Shakhtar's youth team was denied the use of the VAR system for the decisive match of the youth championship against Dynamo U-19.
Photo: fcdynamo.comAccording to journalist Ihor Burbas, both clubs "were interested in using the video replay system to help the referee make objective decisions during the face-to-face match between their youth teams. But they were refused. The reason was that the stadium in the village of Shchaslyve did not meet the technical requirements of the TV broadcast for the VAR system."
On the eve of the face-to-face match, Shakhtar U-19 are one point ahead of Dynamo U-19 in the standings.
