In an interview with the UPL TV telegram channel, former Dynamo Kyiv coach Jozsef Szabo shared his expectations for his former team's match against Shakhtar Donetsk in the 28th round of the Ukrainian championship to be held tomorrow in Lviv.
- Both teams gained a good momentum towards the end of the season. Shovkovskyi has proved himself very well, I'm rooting for him, he's good, he's doing well. But Shakhtar's squad is still stronger, they have a lot of youngsters. Especially in the centre of defence, and they make mistakes. However, in this difficult time, both teams are playing good football.
- What was the first thing Shovkovskyi managed to change when he took over the team?
- I can't criticise Lucescu, but it seems to me that recently, when he was here, he didn't care about anything - win or lose. This is my opinion, given what I saw in the game. There was no necessary discipline. And Shovkovskyi has good game discipline, which is why they win a lot.
- Can you mention any of Dynamo's players personally?
- I follow Brazhko, he has all the data to become a great footballer. He has good tackling for a full-back, a good vision of the field, a quality pass, a great shot, and good insurance. This is a player who will not stay at Dynamo for long.
- Did anyone at Shakhtar deserve an award at the end of the season?
- It seems to me that they all seem to be the same, especially in the midfield. Sudakov or others do not stand out.
- What will be the key to victory?
- It's always the midfield that makes the game: good tackling, attacking or counter-attacking, and ball distribution. But the question is what the teams' tactics will be for this game. "Shakhtar will be happy with a draw, but Dynamo need to win, but they are unlikely to take any risks against Shakhtar.
