More than 200 Ukrainian footballers play abroad - study

The CIES Football Observatory has released its new study, this time concerning football migrants.

Specialists have processed data from 83 countries and 135 leagues around the world. According to their data, 204 players from Ukraine are currently playing in these championships. Thus, our country ranks 20th in the world in terms of the number of foreigners.

Brazil leads here, of course, with 1338 players playing abroad. France is not far behind (1091), Argentina (995) is a little short of a thousand players.

The study also mentions that the number of Brazilians in the Ukrainian championship compared to the data for 2020 has decreased by one player. If four years ago there were 30, now there are 29 left.
