Chelsea captain Reece James has returned to the London team after a serious injury and surgery. The Englishman was included in the Blues' squad for the match of the 37th round of the English Championship against Nottingham.
The 24-year-old has been out of action since 10 December, when he injured his knee ligaments in a match against Everton. This was James' seventh knee injury in the last three years. The defender healed another injury in early October and was out again in December. In autumn, he also missed a month and a half due to a knee ligament injury.
It will be recalled that Reece James is a graduate of the Chelsea Academy. This season, he has played in only nine matches for his team in all competitions, eight in the Premier League and one in the FA Cup.
