Real Madrid's Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin will continue his cooperation with the Madrid club.
According to the Relevo portal, Lunin has accepted the offer of Real Madrid's management to sign a new deal that runs until 2029. The agreement provides for a significant salary increase, as the club bosses are very pleased with the progress of the Ukrainian goalkeeper this season, when Andriy became the main character of the team, for example, in the Champions League matches with Leipzig and Manchester City.
It is also known that all the documents between the parties will be signed in the near future, and Lunin himself hopes to impose serious competition on Thibaut Courtois in the future.
Despite reaching an agreement to continue their cooperation, Real Madrid and Lunin will continue to study offers from other European clubs. It is expected that Madrid will receive a lot of inquiries about the possible transfer of the Ukrainian goalkeeper this summer.
As a reminder, Lunin's current deal with Real Madrid expires in 2025.
