News from the camp of Ukraine's rival in the Euro 2024 group. Apparently, Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has finally renounced the Belgian national team.
Thibaut CourtoisRecall, the 32-year-old goalkeeper has long been in conflict with the head coach of the national team of his country Domenico Tedesco, because of which does not play in its composition for almost a year (the last time Courtois took a place in the gate of the Belgian national team on 17 June last year). Back in December, the goalkeeper said that he does not intend to take part in Euro 2024.
Belgian media did not stop hoping that Courtois will still return to the national team, but he recently behaved as if he wanted to show that he no longer wants to associate himself with the "Red Devils".
Last Saturday Courtois celebrated his 32nd birthday and among those who wanted to congratulate him on social networks was the Belgium national team, which through its official Instagram account tried to greet the goalkeeper, but the latter's reaction was more than unexpected. Courtois in his Instagram profile removed any mention of the Belgium national team from his biography. At the same time, the goalkeeper is no longer among the subscribers to the official account of the national team.
