Roman Bezus is recognised as the best attacking midfielder in the Cyprus Championship and is included in the team of the season

In Cyprus, the traditional results of the football season were summarised and a corresponding award ceremony was held.

The best attacking midfielder of the league was recognised as the Ukrainian legionnaire of Omonia Roman Bezus. It should be noted that the 33-year-old footballer received the award while on crutches: the Ukrainian is now in the first stage of recovery after a ruptured Achilles tendon.

Also Bezus is included in the team of the season of the Cypriot championship, which has the following composition.

Goalkeeper: Kenan Piric (AEK)

Defencemen: Nicolas Panayiotou (Omonia), Radosav Petrovic (APOEL), Valentin Roberges (AEK), Isham Chebak (APOEL).

Midfielders: Dalsio (APOEL), Roman Bezus (Omonia), Gustavos Ledes (AEK).

Forwards: Willy Semedo (Omonia), Georgi Kvilitaya (APOEL), Zairo (Paphos).

In the season-2023/24 Bezus played 37 matches for Omonia and scored 14 goals.

We would like to add that the second best team of the season was also determined. It was former Dynamo Kyiv striker Fran Sol, who now plays for AEK.
