The start of the match turned out to be very effective. Already in the 4th minute of the match the referee awarded a penalty to Kryvbas for a foul on Yarmolenko, which was clearly converted by Vanat - 1:0. And just two minutes later Dynamo scored the second goal - Shaparenko took the game on himself, beat three opponents in the Kryvbas penalty area and sent the ball into the net - 2:0.
However, the guests not only managed to withstand such a blow, but also quickly seized the initiative, which led to a goal for Dynamo in the 19th minute of the match: Bandeira served from the right flank to the far post, where Tverdokhleb won the fight in the air with Tymchik and sent the ball into the net - 2:1.
The rest of the first half passed under the sign of Kryvbas' advantage, which created several rather dangerous moments at Dynamo's goal, but the closest to success were Kyivians - it was Tymchyk after Yarmolenko's pass who went one-on-one with Khoma, but he failed to use such a great opportunity, falling in the penalty area while trying to beat Kryvbas' goalkeeper. As a result, the teams went into the break with the score 2:1 on the scoreboard.
In the second half, the game was played on a counter course. The opponents were exchanging unpleasant shots almost non-stop and the ball in the centre of the pitch did not linger. The first truly dangerous moment occurred on the 57th minute of the match, when after a corner kick at Dynamo's goal on the far post Prins made a spectacular drop shot over himself from the corner of the goalkeeper's box, and only Buschan's phenomenal reaction saved the Kyivians from the second missed goal.
During the rest of the match neither of the teams had a clear advantage, the game continued to be played on a counter course. But luck eventually smiled on Dynamo: on the 80th minute of the match Kabaev crossed from the left flank to the far post, there Voloshin made a cross to Dubinchak, who sent the ball into the net of Kryvbas' goal from a metre - 3:1, and this is the score that ended the match.
It should be reminded that this match had no tournament significance neither for Dynamo, nor for Kryvbas. Both teams have no opportunity to change their current standings: Kyiv have secured the second place in the standings, and Kryvyiivorozhye - the third.
In the next, the final round of the Ukrainian championship of the season-2023/24 Dynamo will face Lviv Ruh. This meeting will take place next Saturday, 25 May, in Lviv at the Arena Lviv stadium (kick-off - at 18:00).
