There are fewer and fewer days left until an event that we are looking forward to with particular anticipation. During the month from 14 June to 14 July, the final tournament of the European Championship will take place in German stadiums.
European CupAs a reminder, the ten cities that will host matches involving the European football elite are Berlin, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Gelsenkirchen, Cologne, Leipzig, Munich, Frankfurt am Main and Stuttgart.
The tournament will be opened by a meeting in Munich between Germany and Scotland. The champion will be determined in Berlin.
As you know, 24 teams will make up 6 quartets. Our team got into Group E.
Sergey Rebrov's wards will play their first match at Munich's Allianz Arena on 17 June against Romania. Then our guys will move to Dusseldorf. There at the Merkur Spiel-Arena on 22 June they will compete with the players of Slovakia. The third match Ukrainians will play against Belgium on 26 June in Stuttgart at the Mercedes Benz Arena.
This is the fourth appearance of our team in the final part of the European Championship (2012, 2016, 2020 and 2024). The best result was the quarter-final at Euro 2020.
Before the start in Germany, the national team of Ukraine will play three friendlies: 4 June - with Germany, 7 June - with Poland and 11 June - with Moldova.

The two strongest teams from each group and the top four third-placed teams will qualify for the play-offs.
Now about the finances, UEFA paid each of the 24 teams 9.25 million euros for participation in the final tournament. A win in the group stage is valued at one million, a draw - 500 thousand.
If the European champion wins all the matches, the amount of prize money will be 28.25 million euros. The total prize fund of Euro-2024 will be 331 million euros.
