The situation with the possible opponents of Dynamo Kyiv in the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League (non-championship path) next season, which we told in detail the day before, has become clearer.
We would like to remind you that apart from the Bilo-Syni, at this stage of the tournament the vice-champions of Austria, Serbia, Turkey, Switzerland and the Czech Republic will also go the way of the non-champions. And in three of the five championships of these countries, the denouement has already come.
Thus, in the Austrian championship the final second place was secured early by Salzburg, in the Czech championship by Slavia and in the Serbian championship by Partizan.
In the Turkish Super League, Fenerbahçe are likely to finish second, three points behind the leading Galatasaray. However, each of these teams has a higher UEFA club coefficient than Dynamo, so the result of the Turkish championship will not affect the situation with the seeding for Kyiv - the only question here is the name of a particular opponent.
There are two rounds left to play in the Swiss championship, and one of the following three teams may end up in the final second place (the UEFA club coefficient is shown in brackets):
1. "Young Boys" (34.500) - 71 points
2. "Lugano " (8.000) - 65
3. " Servette (9.000) - 61.
The only important thing for Dynamo here is that the second is not Young Boys - only this club has a higher UEFA coefficient than Kyiv.
Assuming that the current standings of the teams in the Turkish and Swiss championships will remain unchanged until their completion, the composition of the baskets at the draw of the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League on the way of non-champions will be as follows.

The draw for the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League will take place on 18 June, while the matches of this stage of the tournament will take place on 23/24 July and 30/31 July.
As for the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League, 8 teams will take part: 3 winners of the second qualification, the fourth team of France ("Lille"), the third team of the Netherlands ("Twente"), as well as the vice-champions of Portugal ("Benfica"), Belgium ("Bruges" / "Anderlecht" / "Union St. Juliaz") and Scotland ("Rangers").
In this situation, questions remain only on the Belgian championship, where the position of the leaders for the round before the end of the championship has the following form (UEFA club coefficient is given in brackets):
1. "Bruges" (64.000) - 49 points
2. "Anderlecht" (14.500) - 46
3. "Union St Juliaz" (27.000) - 46
4. "Cercle Brugge" - 35.
Here it is important for Dynamo that Anderlecht finish second - only it has a lower club coefficient than Kyiv.
Assuming that Dynamo and two representatives from the seeded basket will qualify for the 2nd qualifying round, and the current standings of the teams in the Belgian championship will remain unchanged, the line-up of the participants of the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League on the way of non-champions will be as follows.

As we can see, Dynamo's chances of being among the seeded teams in the third qualification round in case of successful performance in the 2nd qualification round look slim. For this purpose it is necessary that none of the "seeded" teams of the second qualification round managed to pass further - otherwise each of them will push Dynamo into the "unseeded" basket due to the higher club coefficient.
And it is obligatory that Anderlecht should be the second in Belgium: if it does not happen, Dynamo will have no chance to be among the "seeded" in the draw of the 3rd qualifying round.
