"West Ham has officially announced the appointment of Julen Lopetegui as the team's new head coach.

"My ambition as a coach is to always be better and better, to achieve bigger and bigger goals, to encourage and improve the players, the team and to compete. football is all about competing," Lopetegui said.
Earlier, Lopetegui was in charge of the Spanish national team, Porto, Real Madrid, Sevilla and Wolverhampton.
