An incredible match took place yesterday, 27 May, in Düsseldorf, where local Fortuna and Bochum met in the return leg of the Bundesliga playoffs.

In the first leg, Fortuna earned a resounding 3-0 away win over Bochum. It seemed that the return game would be just a formality for the Düsseldorf club, which probably already saw itself in the elite.
However, Bochum managed to pull off an incredible feat, scoring three goals in 90 minutes against Fortuna. As a result, the total score became equal 3:3 and the confrontation went into two extra periods, in which the audience did not see any goals. Everything was decided in the penalty shootout, where the guests were luckier - 5:6.
Thus, Bochum, having made an insane kambak, managed to save themselves and kept their place in the Bundesliga for the next season.
