Yesterday, Dynamo Kyiv made an official offer to Dnipro-1 to acquire that team's midfielder Oleksandr Pikhalenok, according to the TaToTake telegram channel.
However, according to an option in the contract on the 27-year-old's transfer from Shakhtar to Dnipro-1 in 2021, any offer that suits the Dnipro club must be shown to the Donetsk club, and Shakhtar always have a priority right to get Pikhalenok back on the same terms, unless the player is a free agent at that time.
According to the source, Shakhtar have familiarised themselves with Dynamo's offer and repeated it. We are talking about an amount of about 2.5-3 million dollars.
It is difficult to guess how the situation will develop now. If Pikhalenok does not want to move to Shakhtar, Dynamo will probably make their next step (in the form of a new offer).
We would like to add that Pikhalenok's contract with Dnipro Dnipro-1 runs until next summer.
