Werder Bremen have announced the signing of Ukraine U-19 defender Ivan Yermachkov.
According to the Bremen press service, Yermachkov signed a full-fledged adult agreement with the club. The contract is for two years with an option to extend for another season.
It is also known that Yermachkov will play for Werder's second team, the U-23s, with the opportunity to train with the first team.
In Ukraine, Yermachkov played for Dinaz and Kolos Kovaliv. After the start of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, the centre-back moved to Germany, where he played for Wuppertal.
