So all the players, who are now in the camp of the national team of Ukraine, can take part in the match against Germany. Only Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin, whose arrival in Germany was delayed due to his participation in the Champions League final, will probably not play.
Interestingly, just a year ago (12 June 2023), the German and Ukrainian national teams already met each other in a friendly match. That sparring took place in Bremen and ended in a 3-3 draw. Niklas Füllkrug, Kai Havertz and Joao Kimmich scored for Germany (from the penalty spot), while Viktor Tsygankov scored a double for Ukraine and Antonio Rüdiger scored another goal. Interestingly, the Ukrainians led 3-1 until the 83rd minute of the match.
