Flick disrupts Barcelona's plans for the summer transfer window because of one player

Hans-Dieter Flick's arrival at Barcelona has slightly changed the club's transfer plans for the summer offseason.

As Florian Plettenberg writes, the Catalans expected to sell winger Rafinha in the summer transfer window. The Blaugrana bosses have a good offer on the table for the Brazilian from Saudi Arabia, and the media believe that the club planned to earn about one hundred million euros for the player's transfer.

Flick expressed his desire to keep Rafinha in the team. The management heard the German coach's opinion on the Brazilian's future, but it is not yet known whether they share it.

The 27-year-old footballer moved to the Camp Nou in July 2022 from Leeds for 58 million euros. Last season, he scored 10 goals and provided 13 assists in 37 games for Barcelona.
