With this result, Lukaku surpassed the legendary Hungarian forward Ferenc Puskas, who had 84 goals for the national team. Lukaku also caught up with the UAE national team's scorer Ali Mabhut, with whom they share sixth place in the list of the most productive players in the history of national teams.
