The Netherlands midfielder Frankie de Jong did not have time to heal his injury and will miss Euro 2024, according to the official resources of the national team.

"Unfortunately, he will not be ready in three weeks. Frankie has a long history with this injury, so we have to think about his health. His club decided to take a risk, and now we will have to pay the price for it," said the national team's head coach Ronald Koeman.
