Ukraine midfielder Viktor Tsygankov commented on the victory of our national team in a friendly match over Moldova on MEGOGO.

Viktor Tsygankov

- Viktor, how would you assess today's match?

- We scored a quick goal - it became much easier to play, we had the initiative. Then we managed to score the second goal, which also made our game easier. It was good to have such a match, we were able to test ourselves and won.

- Did the opponent play tough enough, despite the friendly status of the match?

- Basically, a normal game, no one wants to lose. It was important to prepare ourselves for these matches, because no one will let us play in peace.

- Comment on your goal against Moldova. It was a very effective combination.

- It's easy to play with the guys, because everyone understands everything. They have quality, and I am pleased that we managed to create such a goal. We understand each other. I hope we will score more goals like this in the future.

- What is your general mood before Euro 2024?

- This is a holiday for us, for the country, for the people. We want to give them good emotions - this is the most important thing. We feel responsible, and we want to give people a pleasant experience.

- What would you like to say to our defenders of the Ukrainian Armed Forces who will be watching the European Championship?

- Let me repeat: we understand our responsibility. We are not going to Germany just to play in the Euros. We know who we should fight for on the football field. It all depends on the result. I hope that we will succeed. We are very optimistic about the upcoming matches and I believe in our victory! Glory to Ukraine!
