London Arsenal have informed their two defenders - Ukrainian Oleksandr Zinchenko and Scotsman Kieran Tierney - that they are not part of head coach Mikel Arteta's plans for the upcoming season and therefore the club will decide to sell both of them during the summer transfer window, reports TBR.
According to the source, Arteta has decided to focus on Jakub Kivior and Takehiro Tomiyasu for the left-back position in the new season.
It should be added that in the season-2023/24 Zinchenko played 35 matches for Arsenal in all tournaments, scoring one goal and giving two assists. After an injury in the second half of the season, the Ukrainian lost his place in the main squad of his team: first he was replaced by Kivior, and then by Tomiyasu.
