France striker Olivier Giroud is confident that Kylian Mbappe will be able to play in the team's first match at Euro 2024 against Austria.

"I'm not worried about Mbappe, he rested yesterday. And although I am not a member of the medical staff, I don't think Kylian will lose his tone by missing one or two training sessions.
Don't worry, he'll be ready for the first game!" Giroud was quoted as saying by UEFA's official website.
It will be recalled that Kilian was injured during the preparatory cycle before the tournament.
